Leadership Bootcamp 2: Finance & Budgets

The Budget & Finance Committee wants you to start the new year set up for success, so we’re inviting you to our Committee Chair Financial Boot Camp (aka Dollars & Duties) — where you’ll learn the ins and outs of managing chapter funds like a pro.

We’ll Cover:  

  •  Your financial role & responsibilities as a committee chair

  •  How to handle receipts, disbursements & documentation

  •  Legal Requirements, including tax exemption

  •  Building, tracking, and owning your budget

  •  Key deadlines that keep our chapter running smoothly

Who Should Attend:

All Committee Chairs (attend one session)

Optional but Encouraged: Any Soror who wants to sharpen her financial management skills

You’ll leave with a clear understanding of where your 2025 year-to-date budget stands and the tools you need to manage and write your 2026 budget with confidence.

Review your remaining 2025 budget

Read the Chapter Policies & Procedures (pages 15, 18–27, 36) available on the here on our members only website

 Important Deadlines:

Oct 1: 2025 Budget Review & Reallocation Requests due

Oct 15: 2026 Proposed Budgets due to Budget & Finance Committee
