President’s Welcome

Greetings Delta Sisters, Partners, and Friends,

Welcome to the digital home of the Cincinnati Queen City Alumnae (CQCA) Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. I am Mary E. Mitchell, President of this award-winning chapter, proudly serving in the Mighty Midwest Region since 1989. On behalf of our sisterhood, devoted to Scholarship, Sisterhood, Service and Social Action, thank you for taking a moment to visit our website.

Our history includes almost four decades of continuing the legacy of our 22 Founders! CQCA’s commitment to the Greater Cincinnati Community focused on Lincoln Heights, Bond Hill, and Avondale is guided by our Five-Point Programmatic Thrusts of Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness & Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, and Political Awareness & Involvement. Our work includes providing scholarships to assist youth in their education pursuits, supporting youth development, and creating programs that empower individuals and families. We remain dedicated to expanding our reach by sharing knowledge, building resources, and promoting health, economic stability, and civic engagement.

This 2025-27 vision is simple and strong: “I Got You, S.I.S.—Systems, Impact, and Sisterhood.” It is both a promise and a plan to strengthen our processes to serve in excellence, make data-driven decisions to ensure our service is impactful, and keeping everything rooted in who we are, sisters! During this biennium, we will continue to grow, cultivate partnerships, and invest in opportunities that uplift women, children, and families throughout our city.

If you are a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. looking for a chapter to call home, consider the Cincinnati Queen City Alumnae Chapter. We have a place for every soror here! Our chapter is diverse, representing all generations with many gifts and talents. We are leaders in our professions and in the community, genuine women dedicated to using our skills, influence, and passion to make a difference. We would be honored for you to join us.

We also invite our Delta sisters, partners, friends, and community members to explore our website for upcoming activities, events, and resources. Follow us on social media, share opportunities, and connect with us at chapter-sponsored programs throughout the year. We believe in the power of collaboration and welcome the opportunity to work with organizations and individuals who share our commitment to service and empowerment.

Together, we say with confidence and kindness: “I Got You, SIS!”
